Finding Om Yoga Therapy was developed and is run by Deborah Patz Clarke, PsyD, RYT. Debby conducts ongoing research in the field of yoga therapy. She was privileged to present her most recent findings at the Symposium on Yoga Therapy and Research in 2009 and the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association's annual convention in 2010. Debby's work was featured in the November 2009 issue of Redbook Magazine and the February 2010 issue of Prevention Magazine.

Debby was granted her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Rockies in October, 2009. She received her masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the Colorado School of Professional Psychology in 2007 and her Bachelors degree in 1988 from Harvard College. Debby completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at CorePower Yoga in Colorado Springs. She participated in an intensive teacher training bootcamp with Baron Baptiste and has trained under yoga luminaries such as Gurmukh and Sean Corne. Debby is also level 1 trained in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association, the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance.

Debby values honesty in both her personal and professional life, and has a compassionate, straightforward approach to psychotherapy. She has worked with a variety of clients in both individual, couple and group settings and has helped people with both eating disorders and substance abuse.

She has been practicing yoga on-and-off since 1991 and has been practicing 3-5 times a week since 2001. Although she teaches primarily in a flowing vinyasa style, she enjoys practicing a variety of yoga styles, including Anusara, Ashtanga, Hot Yoga and Kundalini. Debby is an avid runner and cyclist who loves running races and duathlons. She is also a very proud wife and the mother of two beautiful girls.
